What is a 13-week cash flow forecast?
A week-by-week view of the cash you expect to come in and go out over the next quarter, starting from what's in the bank today. Thirteen weeks is long enough to see a tight week coming and short enough to build from real invoices and bills instead of guesses.
How do I build one?
Start from today's bank balance. Put each customer payment in the week you really expect the cash, and each payroll, bill and tax payment in the week it leaves. The template adds it up, carries each week's closing cash into the next one and flags any week below your safety floor.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. It's an Excel file with plain formulas, so it opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. No macros.
Is it really free?
Yes. Use it, change it and share it. The only thing I ask for is your name and email.
What do you do with my email?
